Grupo AMSlab participates in the Troya Project, a micro-credential from the USC in Lugo focused on labour inclusion
Today we attended the closing ceremony of the Troya Project, a training initiative framed within a micro-credential from the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela developed in Lugo, focused on building business skills for people belonging to groups at risk of social exclusion.
The programme has involved seven female students with physical disabilities, who throughout the training received specialised mentoring in different partner companies, with the aim of bringing them closer to the real professional environment and facilitating their labour market integration.
As a result of this support and the joint work between organisations, one of the participants has already secured a permanent contract, a result that highlights the real impact of this type of initiative on employability.
Grupo AMSlab’s commitment to inclusion
From Grupo AMSlab, we take part in this micro-credential as a collaborating organisation, reaffirming our commitment to social inclusion and equal opportunities. Our collaboration has taken the form of both financial support and hosting a student for an internship, allowing her to gain first-hand insight into areas such as Administration and Human Resources within the organisation.
These types of experiences not only enable the acquisition of professional skills, but also support the gradual integration into real working environments.
A project with shared impact
The Troya Project has involved several organisations from the business and institutional ecosystem of the province of Lugo, including: Agrotecnia, Plásticos Arias, Leche Río, Cafés Candelas, USC, the Lugo Provincial Council, and ourselves.
The collaboration between all these entities has been key to creating an applied learning environment, where participants have been able to develop transversal skills, understand the internal functioning of organisations, and prepare for their entry into the labour market.
An initiative that generates real opportunities
From AMSlab, we would like to thank all the organisations, professionals, and participants involved in the project. Initiatives such as the Troya Project demonstrate that public-private collaboration can translate into real employment opportunities and into a significant step forward towards a more inclusive, accessible, and people-centred labour market.
