Control systems for natural contaminants in cereal-based products
Within the framework of the FEDER Interconnecta 2016 programme, the AMSlab group company CIFGA took part in the MYCONTROL project, funded by the CDTI and the Technological Fund programme with the support of the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competition.
In addition to CIFGA, other organisations participating in the project titled ‘MYCONTROL: Control systems for natural contaminants in cereal-based products’ included Evialis Galicia (consortium leader), Custom Drinks and the University of Santiago de Compostela.
The overall objective of MYCONTROL was to reduce the impact of mycotoxins found in raw materials used for the manufacture of food and animal feed products, to improve and safeguard public health, improve quality and add significant value to these products.
The project took place in Lugo and A Coruña (Galicia, Spain), with a total budget of €1,138,472, which was spread over the three milestones of the project.
Project duration: 1 July 2016 to 31 March 2019
